High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a high energy cardio workout alternating short periods of intense exercise with less intense recovery periods. This class incorporates 40 seconds of low impact moves with 20 seconds of active recovery in between. No jumping, but squats, lunges, and floor exercises are part of the routine. The 40-minute class starts with a quick warm-up and will be finished off with a cool down and stretching exercises.
