Mosaic Arthritis Community Services is sponsoring a Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP) for adults of all ages who suffer from chronic conditions (e.g. arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, autoimmune disorders (e.g. lupus), asthma, depression, and other physical and mental health conditions . This FREE and highly interactive six-week workshop will be offered at AHFW beginning on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 1-3pm and is open to anyone (men included) who would like to explore healthy ways to live with challenging physical and mental conditions and improve their daily lives. The workshop provides information and teaches practical skills needed to give chronic disease sufferers the confidence and motivation they need to manage the challenges of living with their health conditions. Some of the topics covered are becoming an active self-manager, understanding and managing common conditions, symptoms, and emotions, healthy eating and exercise, communicating with health care provider, and creating an action plan.
